An ombre ballgown. Black and blush frocks. Sexy backs. Legs galore in front slit dresses and high-low hemlines. There were plenty of trends and statement-making designs at this fall’s Bridal Fashion Week to keep us oohing and ahhing for days–in fact, we’re still swooning. (Thank you bridal fashion gods!)

So today, we present part one of the the gowns we went gaga for…

1. We love ombre flowers, invitations, cakes, and dresses, and we DIE over this pink and purple ombre gown by Carolina Herrera.

2. A high lace neckline and full lace back make this Lela Rose dress a knock-out.

3. Jenny Packham floored us with her beautifully draped, elaborately beaded, Roaring 20′s-inspired dresses–case in point, this off-the-shoulder stunner.

4. What bride wouldn’t want to wear this dreamy, ruffled, dove gray gown by Enzoani?

5. There are no words to express the ethereal beauty of Elizabeth Fillmore‘s dresses, including this insanely gorgeous, illusion sleeve design.

6. High-low hemlines were a big trend to emerge from Bridal Fashion Week, and this romantic Claire Pettibone frock was one of our favorite short-in-front-long-in-back designs.

7. This shimmery sheath dress by Anne Barge kicked our heartbeats into high gear. We love everything about this look: the sexy silhouette, the chunky necklace, and the dark lipstick.

8. Leave it to the oh-so talented Angel Sanchez to send a gown painted with pale pink blooms down his runways. We love the soft pop of color and the demi-capelet.

More stand-out dresses to come! What do you think of these new wedding gowns? Do you have a favorite look from Bridal Fashion Week? Tell us about it!
